I need help promoting my business!
Guys, I'm a novice in the Home Based Business. I've joined Ambit Energy.

Well, I started doing great, but I want to generate more leads for my business to grow.
Any ideas? I mean, I can't complain; but I still haven't gotten to the level I pictured myself into when I joined the business.

I took a look at your website. I'm in Ignite and had heard Ambit had a similar program. Are you having good luck with it? Ignite just launched in Georgia (we can sell both electric and/or gas in the launched deregulated markets) and it has been a wild fire here. Incredible publicity from the company and networking support. You can check out the comp plan at www.payongas.com
Anyhow, network marketing is about working with your support team and networking with people you know or meet. You will end up having a fairly significant churn rate if you are in the lead generating business and getting people signed up in your downline who you aren't able to train. This will limit your objective of building the residual income (hopefully you are focused on building that vs the short term bumps you get when getting new folks signed up). Leadership and training is key which is why I went with Ignite and why I'm highly involved in the success of my team.

I have seen and believe Ambit is a good, legitimate opportunity.
Your challenges are overcoming resistance by building trust with potential customers and mass marketing on a budget. The key to your success will be high volume in geographically concentrated areas.
I'm reminded of what Frank Maguire, one of the founders of FedEX said. "We decided early on that we were not in the 'delivery" business...but in the business of 'peace of mind.' Our clients' biggest fear was late delivery."
Keep in mind as you market, your prospect is not just concerned about saving money. They want to know their refrigerator and air conditioning is going to keep their food and their home cool. What you sell is comfort.
You'll need to market both the service and the opportunity to get the volume you need. For the service rather than splatter advertising all over the states I would try to focus on a particular area and build from there. You might even experiment with the admittedly low tech door hanger. With the right ad copy in the right neighborhood I think they can work. Just concentrate on the service. Resist the temptation to put on the front service and put on the back opportunity. It won't work. Also, look in Craigslist and other free classified advertising sites to see if you can find a niche there.
I'll keep thinking and see what else I can come up with.

It is very easy to get distracted or confused these days when trying to figure out the best way to promote your online business. With so many different strategies to choose from, you should definitely do your research before deciding on the best return for your investment. I would first take into account what your budget is, and then begin your research as to what strategies you would like to pursue that are best aligned with the goals of your business. There are plenty of free as well as paid strategies you can implement that help you build your business. You may want to create two folders on your desktop and label one of the folders "Paid Marketing Strategies" and the other "Free Marketing Strategies". Whenever you find a product that interests you in promoting your business, simply save it in the appropriate folder. After you feel you have done your due diligence and you are aware of all of your options, then decide which strategies will best suit your business as well as your budget.

So you want more leads? First you must decide what kind of leads you want. Do you want someone to purchase your product...or do you want new distributors? Secondly, figure out what is in their heads. What kind of problem are they having and how are you going to help them solve it.
Knowing where to buy things isn't the problem. You must be an indispensable source of information. If they are looking for a shovel, tell them how to dig a hole. If they're looking for more internet traffic, tell them how to take it with free web 2.0 services. If you give them information first then they will buy from you instead of everyone else.
If you want to generate targeted leads I would suggest educating yourself about Google Adwords and launching a campaign. Make sure you are choosing the correct keywords for your target market, otherwise you could lose $. There is a free keyword search at http://goodkeywords.com , http://inventory.overture.com , or https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . Once it is set up it will work for you all the time.
Or if you are on a tight budget there are tons of free alternatives to getting more leads. For instance submitting articles to ezines or advertising on Craigs list.-MsTiffanyJ-

It’s almost too good to be true.
I am so excited that I have to tell everyone. The company that I got started with is the greatest thing that I have ever seen. It’s a lot of fun.,., not a lot of work. I recommend taking right out of the shoot Taking A Dream Trip so you can meet some of the fellow associates and get the focus and momentum. They are great!!! If you spend 8 hours a week (if you follow our system) you can easily make a living. When you decide I will personally mentor you and help in any way you need. This has been fun for me. The upper management is the best I have ever seen and I have been around some powerful people. When you get some spare time. Check it out and tell me what you think. But whatever you do treat it like a business but have fun doing it.
