Please help me in choosing web hosting
Hi everyone,
I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (bluehost.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)
Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?
I am now checking http://www.hosting24.com/ - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".
What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..
Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.

I've hosted many sites in the past with Dathorn.com - good rates as well as customer service. I still have about 15 sites hosted with them.. never a problem.
HostGator.com also has some good plans.
200 visitors per day is not much load on a server unless your running some scripts that are operating poorly.

I am using hostgator.com. They have many plans but I am on the $10/mo @614400MB. So far so good. No issues to report to date.

I LOVE my host, HostMonster.com. Unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, excellent support, unlimited domains, mySQL, all the major blog packages, etc., etc., etc. All of this for around $112 for two years. Can't beat it.

I would either use spider Monkey Hosting they are a smaller company but great to deal with site is http://www.spidermonkeyhosting.com
or if you want to go with a larger company you can use host dime.

When a company says that you get unlimited band with and Hosting that is not really true. THere is no way to give unlimited hosting nor bandwith. On the bandwith part depending on the amount of traffic and what type of connection they have like a T1 you can over load the bandwith.

Personally I use yahoo.
a domain name and hosting works out $13 a month - plus their support is 24 /7
Had no problems at all - thoroughly recommend them
