Bush is talking to the Economic Club of New York about what appears to be a panic over the dropping dollar, etc. I would like to know how people are managing in this crunch time of raising gas prices, food prices, credit card debt, etc. What is keeping you on track and what is giving you hope?

Barbara,

It is my opinion, that there is no failing economy or "crunch time" as you call it. What you focus on expands and those people that believe what they hear in the media are MAKING it true in their world.

I am seeing so much abundance in this so-called bad economy. I am surrounded by people that are making $40K, $50K even $100K a month.

Call me Barbara on 810-299-1688 it would be good to chat to you.
I agree with you. The economy woes are relative to what part of the economy in which someone finds themselves.

The economy to me is similar what Einstein proved about energy. Energy doesn't disappear, it simply changes form. Money and opportunity don't cease to exist, they just move to different parts of the economy.

In real estate a few years ago, sellers were making a killing. Now, a real estate buyer is in a good position to find a deal. If they can buy and hold till the next sellers market in about 5 - 7 years, they should do very well.

Good businesses and good businesspeople are nimble enough to move with the economy.
HI Barbara,
No matter what others are saying, I believe that paying as much as we are right now for gas is outrageous! I have just returned from the middle east and it was super cheap to fill the car. I come back here and hate stopping by the pumps. It is a ripple effect for most businesses that rely on transportation.

Battling the rising costs (which are not a figment of our imaginations) of all kinds of goods these days just means that you have to be a smarter consumer. I am very fortunate to be part of a company that I get a great deal of my products from. I pay wholesale prices and then get rebates back on the goods I purchase as well as for the rest of the members of my team. The products are the safest you can buy and are more economical. When I go out to shop for groceries I can skip the cleaning, cosmetic, supplements and vitamins, bathroom products, skin care, baby care isles. No need. Why would I buy toxic toothpaste and shampoo that is slowly killing me from the store shelves when they are never going to give me a rebate or even a discount for buying their product. Or even worse if I recommend it to others they take the free advertising and put the extra profits into their own pocket. All for a substandard product that has toxic, potentially cancer causing chemicals in them!
I don't have to spend money on gas to get the goods. They come right to me.
I save time ordering them online. Plus, I don't have to spend hours reading labels anymore trying to find the safest brand out there. I trust that they work and work well no matter what product it is and never have to worry about what effect it will have on me or my family.
I also don't have a boat load of unused products in my bathroom that I wasted money on and didn't like. When I run out, I know it's time to order more. I don't have to try 4 or 5 brands of skin cream before I find one that actually works on my wrinkles.

Blah blah blah... sorry, I can't help myself! But this is one of the reasons that I love the company I get my products from.

I find it so interesting when someone zeros in on a particular word choice and expands it. Politicians do it all the time! What is said within the context of a piece can so easily distract from the focus of what was meant to be shared.

It's like the word "green." I did a writer's workshop on that word back in the late 70s when "going green" had no agenda. Kermit wasn't even around to lyricize a song about it-- at least not to my knowledge. My session was about emerald, olive, jade, lime, bottle green, seafoam, nature... and money.

I am happy Jerry and Myles that your inner life matches your outer life. In other words, your life flows with money even as your inner belief system acknowledges its abundance.

While I strive for this balance, I tend to err on the sidelines. I witness how money is experienced by others as emerald, olive, jade, lime, bottle green, seafoam, and camo.

I believe in a people-to-people business, it's helpful to recognize the various shades no matter what your individual perspective or experience. For some, this means that every day we choose how to allocate our funds, i.e., we have more than one mouth to feed, educate, entertain and keep in good health and a limited amount of money in the bank. For others, funds appear to be unlimited.

I appreciate that having unlimited funds places you in a great position to help others.
Hey Cher,
I would love to figure out a way to combine your travelers with my coffee table books- four color photos preserved within leather bound, self published books help keep those fond memories intact for generations to come...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Barb
Hey Malika! I am excited about expanding internationally. My company is so new, it hasn't opened up any countries but the US and Canada for the moment. But in graduate school, my master's thesis was on Magical Realism, which includes stories from people who aren't mainstream, living in power cultures like the US. I loved reading these stories and learning about other ways of perceiving life and value systems. I can't wait to grow globally!

Hi Barbara,
Many of my girlfriends have lost their jobs.
Some have been at my house in tears.
Some cant even think straight now.
Thats why I started to help people make money on line
They didnt lose their job because they did something wrong at work.
The company had no emergency plan for their workers if times got rough.
So basically they don't care about them.
I see the employers as greedy and the bankers that got us into this mess by selling toxic debt - as even greedier.
What gives me hope is knowing I have helped my friends
and that the 9-5 doesn't have to be the way forward any more
Lets be friends
Chris
