i would like to start working for myself but dont know what to do, all i am good at is doing salon type of service. can someone tell me what i should do

Hi Amanda,
First off, don't limit your thinking into believe that "all you are good at" are the things you listed (doing salon type of service, etc.) You and I both know that you have so much more to offer.
So, #1 - Believe in yourself that you have the ability to expand your thinking and learn new things.
#2 When looking at a home business, try to think in terms of leveraging your time so that, in the long run, other people are doing your work for you. Doing a salon type of service is wonderful. How much more fulfilling would your life be if you were actually the owner of a "salon type service" that had 500 people providing that service to customers on your behalf.
This is what leveraging your time is all about.
Network marketing is the ultimate form of "leveraging your time." It allows you to start small, almost on an individual one-on-one basis, similar to what providing salon type services would be. But in a year's time, two year's time, five year's time...a true enviornment where you are leveraging your time through the efforts of many people will bring you much greater potential for true finanancial reward. If you are successful in developing a business where you alone are providing salon type services, in five years, you may have a wonderful client list, but you will still only able to service your customers one person at a time. Your earnings potential will always be limited to the amount of work you can do.

You could go to school to be a cosmetologist, I know where I live you can just do nails. I would check into that. Check your local beauty schools. If you don't have the money to pay for school..Here is an idea to help pay for it.

Working for yourself doesn't mean that you have to have an online business doing network marketing, if you're good with salon type stuff, do you have your license to practice, if so you could start your own business. Pick a good location and cater to the upper social class, run an ad describing your business, the type of services you want to offer, go to there office, to there job location, do a kiosk, go to there home, to there yatch. Keep track of everything on a lap top, your appointments, phone numbers, addresses, if you go to a home, let someone where you'll be and how long you should be. I think that if this is what you are good at that you should go for it. Don't limit yourself though. Your gift will always make room for you. However if you want to expand you can too. Start your home business and have something that generate residual income that can help you in your business. To be financially free today you must work for yourself so get your stuff together. And start realising your dream. If I were you I would specialize in one thing so that when you open up your clients will know that you are a professional in that area.
