what is home based business actually mean
how can a person start with a business sitting at home. do it really works. please give me some guidance how to start with. i have joined with two of such business but i could not build my business. i am really cofussed what it is really all about.

There are many effective marketing strategies you can use depending on your time and budget constraints. Inform your family and friends about your business to get the ball rolling with some vital word of mouth credibility. Advertise in newspapers, using business cards, flyers, and especially on the Internet. Internet marketing is a must in the 21st century.
3. See things through. Perhaps the key to a successful home business is the ability to follow through. Having made contact with your target market through your advertisements, you should expect people to get in touch with you. They will ask for information relating to the products or services or the business opportunity you may be offering. Don't be shy to call them if they leave you their phone number. They gave it to you for a reason. Talking to your potential clients/partners will make them realize that there is a real person behind your business whom they can consult whenever they have questions or need guidance.
4. Stay current. It is always wise to take advantage of the technologies available to you. Thanks to the Internet, home-based businesses can now cater to millions of people worldwide, 24 hours a day, using minimal effort (because of the automated system) and the minimal cost associated with it.

Running business from home can be done. You have to love your work (I believe this comes first). Then love your customer while solving problems. If your business is not solving "some" problem, be creative and adjust. Opportunities are never gift wrapped, it always exist in the storms.
