At the age of 65 I have lived long enough to know several things for a fact.
I have lived through the following emergency situations without recognizing them as emergencies before it was too late:
>> Divorce years with two daughters to feed but no food on our shelves.
>> Welfare does not cover it all and it stinks to get welfare anyway.
>> Loss of job (and thus a paycheck) does not negate the need for food and water.
>> If you're going to find extra income on the net, find something that offers the ability to sell both online and offline. Allow for expanding your business to a nice storefront if you choose.
>> Everyone advertises advertising opportunities and gets referrals. I have a list of great traffic exchanges and biz builders if you want me to send it to you. Be different! Advertise a solid way for others to genuinely make money on products everyone needs for every day sustenance if they face an emergency (that means unexpected or uncontrollable events).
Do something that will be a real gift to you and your family. When the chips are down, you still need to make sure your family has at least basic survival needs - food, water, shelter. Build a true (and very timely, by the way) business that feeds your family now and if all else fails down the road.
"Emergency" does not just mean the government failing or power grids going down, although they certainly would create a huge emergency (and many experts in many fields think they will happen!) It also means those times when you do not have money to go to the store, or when that natural disaster decides to shake up your world. If you are prepared with the basics, you can relax at least a lot more than those who did not.
It really is free to get signed up as an Affiliate with us and the income is very nice. Most importantly, you can get preparedness tips for free, a newsletter, sign up for a free food contest, articles written by the experts, daily/weekly/monthly specials. There is also a Free Planning Guide to help you get started. This is also perfect for your group(s) for income and preparedness.
Do it little by little. You probably don't even need to spring for a 1-year supply of food. I'll gladly take the sale on that one, but you can do it little by little to fill your pantry. Gift Certificates are also available if you want to give a truly meaningful gift.
Take some time, sign up for the e-mail newsletters, find out what handy tips you can use with things you have on hand right now, watch the videos about the different types of food available and then take a leap to Affiliate - I welcome you!
