Difficulty Adding Photo to Blog

Hi, My name is James Powell and i am new here. On the Icon while trying to add a photo to my blog, when i try and download a photo from my doccuments, the picture will not download, i just get html script. Is there any way around this. Also i have a google adsense account, can you add this to your homepage or any blog, i am not sure how to do this. I would like to add some content to my homepage and would like to add some graphics pertaining to my Business to spice it up a little. Thanks any help would be appreciated. powell52@ptd.net
