I wanted to see how many people are doing Blogs and getting traffic?
Also, are you advertising and building relationships and networking in forums and how is that helping you get traffic, leads and recruits/customers?

Hey Paula a mix of blogs, articles, forum posts, and classified ads have all been giving me steady traffic to both my personal blog page and my business web page. Building quality relationships is the backbone of any successful business. I have realized that marketing online requires a lot of time and effort but once things start to open up growth is exponential. I stay away from hype and connect with people on a human level. Share info, tips, opinions just as I would if meeting someone new in person. I never beat anyone over the head with a Business Op.

Too many make this mistake and ruin it for the good ones. That kind of conduct will cheapen even the most legit of opportunities. So many entrepreneurs are pitching so many things it's impossible to keep track and moreover know who is for real and who's a total scambag. If you brand yourself and a knowledgeable leader people will be attracted to what you have to say and what you could possibly offer them of value. Then you have a great opening to engage an interested person in a conversation about your Business. You'll have a much higher chance of recruiting a new partner in success that way. I just relax and have fun! Cheers!

Hello

Yes I am using blog to get traffic. I just started so I have not had any luck yet. I use wordpress.com and from some of the training I have taken on Google this blog site ranks high with Google. I am still learning how to use keywords to get on the front pages of Google. I have also just started using the sites for networking like this one and I have not had any luck here yet either.

Hey Paula,

There's an easier way to get traffic, it's called "Noobing". Noobing is committed to bringing you a simple yet effective marketing platform that delivers beyond satisfying results. It retains one of the largest and most respected law firms in the country, and with that being said, they currently employ 170 attorneys in 6 national offices. Noobing is by far, one of the easiest ways to get your website out into the community, and by easy, I mean just adding your site to Noobing and letting the community do the rest. For every NoobAd that you purchase the community will view your ad for a minimum of 30 seconds. So, in all, Noobing will give the community visibility to your site that will increase your sales. And not to mention, they also have On staff web developers that will create a website for you or assist you in creating a website. I myself, am a member of the Noobing Community myself, and have nothing but positive things to say about it. Few clicks, and you're helping others while you're being helped, so it's a win win deal. :D

Hi Paula

Your so right about the need to blog and build relationships. I know that Pledging for Change has opened its doors to ethical MLM/network marketing recently and the founder has just started a group to discuss MLM as a unique business model. I think it would be a welcome addition to see the promotion of the importance of blogging and developing relationships.

"Pledging for Change" only accepts membership from ethical business promoting positive impact on the planet and I see that ur MLM is SOY candles which I'm sure would be most welcomed.

I also know that Karen... the founder, is really helpful to any business model and she also plays very fair whilst protecting her members from "spam"

Thanks for asking your question,

I definitely am doing Blogging I have ten of them!

And although the amount of visitors does flucktuate, I do have some daily traffic on most of them, also offer an interesting Free Report in order to motivate people to sign up for my mailinglist in order to being able to build relationships.

Also frequently visit forums to get an idea about what is going on, giving me some idea of what people want, and use all kinds of techniques to get traffic. Mostly Article Marketing, for example have a Syndicated Column and even have a little Promo Video on YouTube that has currently been seen
over a 1000 times by now.

I have been spending a lot of time in getting traffic, now I try to shift my focus more on just making improvements to my Blogspots, creating more value for my visitors, making it more fun to visit, hoping that eventually 'Word of Mouse' will also kick in, that's why I have a Send-a-Friend Button for it.

All the Best,

Hey Paula,

I use my blog as my "home".

I use Twitter and Facebook like I am at a party...I just get to know people over there.

Then they come to my blog to get to know me.

It has been very effective!

Live the Dream,
Tim
