How can i market my business and bring more traffic to my website?

any advice would be very grateful I'm very new and i would like to expand my new Domain and Website fast so I can learn to be financially independent and happy. :D thank you

Hi Alex,
There are heaps of ways to market your business for free. Places like this are great but you have to be consistant and post every day. Places like MySpace and blogs are great marketing tools too. There are loads of free online advertising sites that you can place advertising on. Video marketing with YouTube etc is also a great way to generate traffic.

what kind of commission do they pay out when you sign up to sell? do you get a set dollar amount our % of what you sell?

Hey Alex,

The question you should be asking yourself is not how to bring more traffic to your website, but how to bring more targeted traffic to your website.

Think of your ideal customer (i.e., if you're selling cars, you want people who are shopping for cars to go to your website), and consider what they might type into a search engine like google when they are looking for a service you provide.

Once you know those keyword phrases...(answer below the explanation)...

let me pause to make this clear:
let's say you sell Honda cars.
You sell Civics, CR-Vs and Accords.
You know that when someone is ready to buy a CR-V, they will type something like: "Honda CR-V Green Tea Metallic."

...so once you know that buying keyword phrase, you can focus on bringing people to your site who are searching for that particular keyword phrase.

You can do that in numerous ways - payperclick advertising, web 2.0 marketing...

It depends of what your budget is and what your product would be seen more. You really need to push yourself hard, so that you can see a change in your website. For me i use the pay per click search engine, you can control your budget of how much you want to spend daily. my website got popular all started on that! make sure to choose good keywords as well. think as if your the customer. And also look for websites that you can advertise on, there are extremely alot of websites that you can advertise your website. Twitter is the way to go. The days of traditional marketing are numbered. On television you paid to interrupt someone during what they are watching and hope they bought what you were selling. Why? So you could make some money and interrupt them some more.

But wait... now there is TiVo and you can avoid those interruptions. (There are more examples of this but I won't bore you)

Anyways, back to Twitter.... New media marketing is the way everything is going. People don't want to buy from nameless companies they want to buy from (and are buying from) people they know. So get on Twitter, start following people and start having conversations (not sales pitches).

If you really think about it, this is how true business has always been done. It just use to be done at golf courses and country clubs by old men with too much money.

So hop on Twitter.

My first question I know you are saying you have a new domain and a website but I had wanted to know what type of business, product or service are you trying to market online? Are you a network marketer who is trying to generate leads for your network marketing and/or the products and services that are connected to the MLM program?
