Blogging, videos, using social networking sites responsibly and article writing are ways to brand yourself. In addition, you need an autoresponder and a newsletter.
It takes patience as well as your business will not grow overnight. You need to give it a few weeks of consistent effort, after awhile your efforts will really start to compound and you can be building almost on autopilot. I say "almost" because if you have a network marketing business you do need to make calls, train your downline, etc. But attraction marketing will allow people to come to YOU, rather than you do the chasing.

Joanne,
You are giving some very solid advice! The one thing I really can't stand is all of the "you will make 3,5,12 thousand dollars this week" kind of stuff. In my opinion, what this industry needs is a huge infusion of integrity. Over promising and misleading people is just not the way to build a long term successful business. What do you think is going to happen to your people when you simply can't deliver on what YOU promised? Building strong business relationships based on integrity, hard work, knowledge, marketing and yes, some time, is the recipe for a successful business!
Meet people and see if you can fill a need somewhere for them!
