If you're in it for the long haul, sure you can make money on the internet. So many people give it 30 to 60 days and they are back to watching tv, because they don't have a desire or the ambition to stick with it.
Remember with anything, even a new job, there is a learning curve and that takes time. Find out who the guru's are and start signing up for their newsletters and follow their blogs, don't get suckered into believing everything that comes flying into your mail box, most is junk, just trying to separate you from your money is all.
