Why are people afraid to admit that they are not making money in their business.

Just curious, I would like to get different opinions.  It is a well known fact that 97% of people are failing, but I would guess that 97% of people that I meet tell me that they are doing well.  Something just does not sound right about that.

It's normal. Nobody wants to follow a person that isn't successful yet. The problem with that is the person that is very successful doesn't have much time for you.

It's better to team up with others that are the same as you. Keep each other accountable and motivated. Build a team together. Communication is key.

On the other side of the argument, it's not really anybody's business how much somebody makes. It's not how much I make, it's how much you can make in this industry.

Hi Jeff and Sharon
I think if you said you weren't making money, you would be in a negative mindset. That is not where you want to be if you are planning to make money.
You have to believe that you are making money, it puts you thinking things in a certain way, then money and opportunities come your way.
Lets take a Champion for example, you try and try and no matter what, you believe you are going to be the best, you focus, you practice, always seeing victory in your mind! Then eventually what was once hard, becomes much easier.

I feel this way..If you are not making money, you are not making money. You have to start somewhere. I was taught earlier in my career of MLM to fake it until you make it, but i feel thats wrong. I believe people can relate to the truth. I told people when i wasn't making any money in the business. Now i do a few thousand a month part time. I found more people were drawn to me when I told them I wasn't making money but that was gonna turn around soon. see you have to tell someone else story until your story is created. We say real recognize real and people wanna deal with real people...just my opinion and it works for our team...hope this helps.
Jeff, Sharon;

I have some opinions. They range from observation to perception. So, just let keep it light in view of this (meaning don't take it at face value but look for yourself).

1. What are the "official" statistics based on? A financial type of criteria? Meaning do they consider viability or a minimum range of profit to establish that one has "made" it or not? Meaning, do the business has more revenues than bills/debts? Do they have to make a type of minimum profit that would be a gauge for "success"? See what I mean?

2. People have their pride. They will not "advertise" their mediocre success or failures. Also, the majority of people are decent fellows and they don't want to cloud one's hopes or spirit. They will keep the bad news to themselves unless they have come across a proven scam or alike.

3. The merchants of chaos make a lot of noise and voice on every platform they can find. Hence, people think all this noise come from a many, etc. There are some who got themselves where they can have leverage, hence they get a kind of stature. They are the "pro" in their field. Just because of that. Not because they care. They are the minority. 3.1 They have "followers" - you will find these "followers" do not succeed in life and will spread their doom. All these people speak in generalities and confuse and upset others. All in all, they could form 20 % - in any society. And they reach for any type of line of success.

The only response to it all: Flourish and Prosper and help those who really want the help and will put it to good use. Do not discard any that will not make you rich faster. Take them at their level and help them to the next.

Of course, it's normal to give more attention and time to the achievers. What I mean is, everyone in his own right is important - as their intention is on the positive/constructive side.

The destructive characters are not necessarily obvious. These people are cowards and work underhandedly. But, when you spot "trouble", look for these hidden characters. Hidden, because they hide behind their "followers" or even an event/situation. If they don't work to undermine from the start, they will get to it when success is/has become obvious...

That would be one of the reason for failures. It is not the single reason, mind you. There's more to it. But, suffice for today.

Now, I will introduce you, if you haven't heard any of it, to a fun and very successful new company. Just click here.

Prosper and flourish!

IDK but I sure am !  www.TonyHuntOnline.com
Either there lying through their teeth, the "fake it till you make it" approach or they're real individuals making it happen. People are'nt trained properly. When I first started, all I would do is spam people my opportunity (never worked) I now learned what really attracts people. Don't give up!
