Welcome to Empowerment ~ For The Handicapped !

 

Hello, I'm Eileen and I'm handicapped. Some might say  disabled but I don't like that phrase because I'm not disabled.

 

To our visitors and our members, this is not just any website like so many out their. Here we really can share with others just like us, our pain, our suffering, the restrictions we have on a daily basis, and sometimes our embarrassments, and we have them every now and then.

We have many activity's on here for whatever your interest may be. Some of the groups so far are, gardening, arts, writing and literature, recipes for proper diet, and if you don't see one that covers your interest, create one.

We even have a group called "The Powder Room" for the women only. You can come in here and talk frankly about the things that only another handicapped women would know about and understand.

Post your family pictures, even invite your family to join us here.

In time we should have information on what websites to go for medical needs like ramps, wheelchairs, shoes, things to help you with your pets, with gardening, and so much more.

This is your place, this is our place, this is the place for....Empowerment
