Yes mamm, we're pushing for that HARD!   Personally, our insurance rates for us with two kids went up from $600 to $900 monthly......  with the average Business Owned Employer rate increase of 30%!      Linda/CMAS, BS, RN

Unfortunately with the Obama Plan in the works, rates went up 30-60% across the board....  :-(

Thanks Connie, but we needed to decide on m****** "insurance" verses a m****** discount plan for  those all too common family "emergencies", so we renewed our plan with United.    Hopefully we'll never meet the deductible, but the PPO discount is HUGE since they are so big now.....

Well, like the site says clearly hon, you have to be careful and clear to say it's NOT insurance. That's why AP and CareEntry got in trouble... Discount plans don't help with major m******, but for normal stuff like teeth, glasses, and other m****** discounts, they do help.... We need major m****** for hospitals or any extensive testing.... unfortunately.... even if we have a high deductible to keep it affordable....$300 a day won't cover the first five MINUTES if you're hospitalized.....

I respect that they put the disclaimer:

AWIS's Healthcare Plans are not Insurance.

I'd love to see major m****** insurance plans under a system like this..... but the pre-ex would eat them up... ;-(
