- I was born in Rochester NY in 1933 and
raduated Benjamin Franklin HS in 1951 7th out of 364. Declining a Cornell and a U of R scholarship, I opted for the Chicago area and four tough years later, got my undergrad degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois. After an initial stint at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, I held various engineering positions in Pittsburgh, where I received my MBA at Pitt..
It was there that I met my wife Fern. We were married in 1958 and she hasn't kicked me out of the house yet. Last year, we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary.
I was transferred to the Washington DC area in 1970. After an initial period of great business successes, my employer fell behind in its ability to win government consulting contracts. It was time for me to see what I could do on my own as an author and an independent business consultant. Although my publications were critically acclaimed in the railroad industry and I did very well with my own consulting practice, the extensive travelling and constant days away from home proved to be too formidable for me to handle. In June 2001 I realized that I had enough. I have since devoted my efforts to developing a home based business.

in the week. More first-time heart attacks occur between 8 A.M.
and 10 A.M. on Monday mornings, too. And, according to the
National Institute of Health, more strokes - the number three
cause of death in America - also occur between 8 and 9 in the
morning.
The obvious conclusion? People would rather die than go back
to work.
