About Me:

Hello and Welcome. I am Darlene (Shuma) Mitchell and I work from home. I am an Entrepreneur, Network Marketer, and believer in the Law of Attraction.

I was born in a small town, and have the typical American upbringing with Christian values.

I met my husband Bill in March of 1978 after and will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary this year. He is my soul mate, my life mate, and partner in all things.

We have raised three wonderful sons. Vincent, 33, who is an Officer with The PA State Department of Corrections. Billy, 28, who owns his own trucking business. And, last but not least, Jimmy 22, who has a degree in Computer Network Administration. (He’s the third pic on my Top Friends list. LOL) They are grown and starting out on their own journeys in life so, Bill and I are empty nesters. Well we were, until our anniversary in December, when he gave me a kitten for company so I don’t talk to myself when I am alone.

Working in corporate America, I have been involved in the Insurance Industry starting out in the mailroom of Royal Insurance to finally working my way up through the ranks and switching to working at a few Insurance agencies as a P&C Commercial Lines Representative.

I’ve worked in the Commercial Construction field as an Accounting Executive, Contracts Manager, and Executive Administrative Assistant (Secretary).

I have a high school education, but I worked hard and achieved top positions in all my past endeavors. Most of my knowledge has been self-taught through research, persistence, and a determination to succeed where others said I wouldn’t.

We were not looking to start a business. But, we discovered a fun, rewarding, and flexible industry with network marketing. It empowered us to take control of our time, make decision based on our values, and design a lifestyle through our definition of success. It provides ongoing personal growth, education, and development, which are very important to us. It also gives us the chance to help others believe in themselves and achieve their dreams by establishing their own business.

While working full time, we created a roadmap to our success. In order for me to work from home, we needed a financial cushion. We needed “quick cash” to achieve the first goal that I would work from home.

We decided to retail the products at county fairs, Lycoming County .. Union County .. Luzerne County .. and last, but not least, Bloomsburg, the largest fair in PA. We also set up at a local flea market on Sundays to create quick cash in our pockets.

In addition to building “quick cash”, we worked on creating our residual income by building a team of great people that has enriched our lives.

Two years ago, I was able to quit my job with corporate America and I am really enjoying this new aspect of my life. I never imagined that I would be paid to burn the candles I love. I learned to earn while I burned!

Over the next two years, our goal is to have Bill retire from his position so we can spend more time together and build our business. It is also a goal and mission to help others to attain their dreams and financial freedom just like we are doing.
