- Hi, thanks for stopping by. I've been married to my beautiful wife, Anita, for over 25 years and still going strong. We live in NE Ohio, where we have raised our three daughters. We live on a small farm with our Paint and Quarter horses. I work in the trucking industry and have my whole life. Recently I discovered that I was just trading time for money and that my TIME was running out, so I started looking for a better way to support my family without having to be gone all the time. Sharon Presley said… I know that feeling, we were thinking of buying another truck and put someone in the seat that would be okay with a fulltime income but only work 20 days a month. We would run one long haul a month, and that way the withdrawals wouldn't suck so much.
That's a scary proposition though.

Thank you for the warm welcome to HBBC. I noticed in your bio that you have been in the trucking biz your whole life. My Dad owned a trucking biz and my hubby has been driving 37 years. I drove for a few years, now I enjoy being his mother trucker mmmm, I think you know what I mean. We spent several years in the truck, now we are semi-retired.
