- In business, I co-founded my first company in the late 60's and over the years helped launch 11 more. I have had success in cosmetics, health care; school supplies, beverages; pet supplies; baked goods and out-sourcing. Personally, I like my love my life, my family and my church. I am proud to be a Rotarian and take as many weekends off as possible. I am a cancer survivor and take pride in that.

- I am an active member of my church, a Rotarian and I work with several charities including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and American Cancer Society. For over 20 years, I have worked with social groups that help minority women successfully start a small business.
- Interests:
- Away from business, I love to read, dance, travel, listen to blues & soul music and early rock & roll and eat a little more than I should.
I love to fish for trout in Mammoth, but haven't done it in awhile, and take Friday/Saturday Away Time. I really like to meet new friends because my jokes get old very quickly.
- Favorite Books:
- I am an escapist reader that loves a good "Who Done It" or private detective novel. I am also a big fan of Roman and Asian history. If you where to ask me who are my favorite writers of all time, I would have to say Victor Hugo and Charles Dickens.

The obvious conclusion? People would rather die than go back to work.
