- The Strong Seed
Once upon a time, a seed was blown by a strong wind to a faraway foreign shore and got trapped in a crevice of a rock along the road. Clamped and imprisoned in the dark hole, the seed felt so helpless and hopeless. Suddenly, a miraculous life force cried out deep within the heart of the lonely seed, "I shall survive!"
In the break of dawn, it absorbed the moisture of the morning dew and cried out once more, "I shall grow!" What is more to happen but tiny root hairs sprouted and finds more nutrients for the seed to survive.
Then one sunny morning, a little leaf popped out from the seed, smiled at the sun, laughed at the rain, waved with the wind and proudly exclaimed, "I have overcome! I have made it!"
