- Hi, my name is Gwen and I am truly grateful to be a recovering alcoholic and the reason I share this is because today I know that I can succeed in life and that I deserve all that God has to give me including the people that he put in my life, see five years ago my disease of alcoholism made me believe that I was nothing and that I would never be nothing however God saw different and that’s when my journey began and all I said was “GOD PLEASE HELP!”. I just have today however one day at a time I’ve stayed sober 5 years, and what I’ve been taught and what I’ve learned is that I need help to stay sober I can’t do it alone and believe me I tried and It didn’t work so I was told to get a sponsor someone to show me how to stay sober one day at a time and to my surprise it worked and it continues to work to the point where I ‘m going back to school to get my High School Diploma and I was blessed to be able to take care of my mom sober my first 3 yrs until she developed Alzheimer’s and suffered a 4th stroke and I had to put her in a Nursing Home and that was truly hard thank God for Sponsorship I didn’t have to go through it alone and that brought me to my decision to start my own business because the job I have doesn’t grant me the kind of time I want to spend with my mom who is 77 yrs old and not only her but my oldest sister who suffers with fibromyalgia and isn’t in the best of health. God has blessed me to be able to help others on this journey and that’s what I want to do. Today I believe in God and in myself and that God wants me to have the best however in order for that to happen it will take action on my part and that’s what I am about “action” anything worth having is worth working for and that’s what I’m willing to do to have my own business today, do the work and leave the results up to GOD, I JUST DON’T TALK FAITH I WALK BY FAITH AND THAT’S NOT ALWAYS EASY. Today I ask GOD to put the people in my life to help me get where he would have me to go because today it’s not about me it’s about how I can be of maximum service to “GOD AND THE PEOPLE HE PUT IN MY LIFE.” GOD GOT ME SOBER AND KEEPS ME SOBER SO IF HE CAN MAKE THAT DREAM COME TRUE WHAT MAKES ME THINK HE CAN’T MAKE MY DREAM OF WORKING FROM HOME COME TRUE OR USE ME TO HELP AND SHOW OTHER’S THAT HAVING THEIR OWN BUSINESS IS POSSIBLE? TODAY I CAN LOVE PEOPLE FOR WHAT AND WHO THEY ARE AND I AM TRULY GRATEFUL FOR THAT BECAUSE FOR A LONG TIME I THOUGHT I KNEW WHAT LOVE WAS UNTIL I WAS BLESSED WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

- Being of Maximum service to people like me who no longer want to work from paycheck to paycheck. I want to be a blessing in peole's lives and to be willing to invest time in showing that person that enjoying God and life to the fullest is possible.
