Getting Our Start

My start in Network Marketing began in the year of 2000. Prior to this I was a waitress and a cook in small town restaurants. I enjoyed cooking and providing people with good food and service. I met my husband Kevin, in North Carolina and moved to Florida where I have been now for over 18 years. Kevin and I have been married for over 17 years and we have two handsome boys (Kevin Jr. and Timothy) who are a big part of why we are building our Vitamark Business.

I was sitting around one day on the back porch watching Junior play while his little brother Timothy was taking his nap and decided that I just didn't want to go back to work. I couldn't stand the thought of someone else watching our boys. I felt that I should be able to be here for them when they needed me. I also wanted to work hard to retire Kevin so that he could watch his boys grow up. Kevin missed the first year of Kevin Jr.'s life due to having to be out of town working which his line of work demanded. Kevin worked in the Petroleum field putting in Gas Stations.

Thanks to Network Marketing, Kevin has been able to stay more in town and that is such a blessing. Having our children know that Daddy will be coming home is so nice. This was one of my big reasons to find the right company that would provide this for me.

So I found an opportunity online to work from home. It was a good company, I thought, and I worked it hard for a year and a half. Kevin supported and helped me to build it as well. We were determined to live the picture of the lifestyle that was painted for us by this company. Some just wanted our money and they got it. It was a valuable lesson to learn and an expensive one too. We just didn't have the support that we were expecting so we went on searching some more. We did get to know who Jim Rohn was from this company. That was a good thing too. I learned from Jim Rohn that "Successful People Do What Unsuccessful People Won't!" This is what really drove me to search for success.

Finding The Right Company

We needed mentors, coaches, people who knew what we were going through to help us and guide us. This is when I ran across my mentor and coach not just in my Vitamark Business, but in life as well. Michael Dlouhy taught me it was not my fault that I had struggled in the other companies. Wow! What a relief that was to hear. So much so that I cried with relief. I still was skeptical though. There was something in his voice though that got me to start to listen to him more closely. What I found myself doing was becoming a student of this industry and of myself. I had to learn how to become a leader as well as a mentor. Michael taught me to BELIEVE in ME. That is where my success really started is when I worked on me. So for me the first part of my success was working on me. There are times where I drifted off course -- as everyone does from time to time, and as long as you stay focused on your end results you will come through fine. I found that having the support of a team and the company that is behind me helps me tremendously. I've never seen such support as I do with this Vitamark Team. When I needed an answer to a question, I could always find it with Vitamark Support as well as with Michael my sponsor. Support is here. I learn so much from the team I have developed and we all teach each other as well. Kevin and I are so blessed to have such a team of leaders and people with dreams like we have.

Kevin and I are into our health as we are average people that know that without good health there is nothing else. We have two beautiful boys that need us around for a long, long time. We love the Limu Plus and our boys do too. The products have made a huge difference in our lifestyle as we become more active with our boys and their baseball games and activities. Having other people to see our energy level increase and asking us what we are doing is how we are able to share these amazing products with others in our community.

A Future Full of Possibilities

Kevin and I are excited about continuing to build a team with Vitamark and helping each of our team members to reach their dreams. With the Power of One concept just introduced it will be a lot of fun watching our team grow. Because that is what this is all about. People helping people, whether it be helping them improve their health or helping someone be there for his/her children. This is where we are going to take our team this year and in the many years to come.

Kevin and I are building our business here at Vitamark so that we can be able to give our children more than what we had and to help other less fortunate children in our community have a better life. To live the lifestyle we desire, to go to places we have only seen in magazines. The trips that Vitamark offers are a great place to start on the travel plans and so I do encourage you to work hard for the Diamond trips, they are awesome! Vitamark helped me to give Kevin a taste of Luxury with the Diamond Trip to Germany/Austria.

So if you want to experience the success as Kevin and I have so far, and we are not done yet, then the first thing is to work on you, and make the commitment to do what it takes to help make someone else's life better. Help someone else find just one person and duplicate that throughout your Team. It will explode on you so fast you will be saying the same thing Kevin and I are.
