- Hi. I'm glad you wanted to know a bit more about me, cause I am interested in meeting you as well.
My name is Karen and I had been in sales and marketing for many years. As the economy changed so did my life in quite a few ways, particularly my income. I decided internet marketing was the best way to control my income and it also allows me to have more quality time with my family.
Let me also tell you that one of the things in life I find to be vitally important is a sense of self worth. We all need to feel that we are contributing something important. If it is not as significant as a contribution to the world, at least it is of value to someone or something important in our lives. However, it is also just as important that we feel we are appreciated and valued as well.
I have always felt the need to support people in their efforts. Especially when they are venturing on a new road in life and met with uncertainty. The changes that many have had to endure during these times have been, for the lack of a better word, scary. Many have had to rethink everything they know just to stay afloat financially or to maintain the staus quo.
Although the goals may be the same the journey getting there has significantly changed. It brings me joy to see them accomplish their goals with confidence facing the sometimes difficult challenges ahead of them.
I always had goals that I knew I wanted to reach, but there was always a certain amount of fear when it was time to execute the tasks to complete my goals. My anxiety was real, but we are always afraid of the unknown. I realized that my fear of what I did know was worse and that was failure, which is never an option for me. Now I don't want to leave the impression that I have never failed, I have, but I won't give up until the task is done. Failing is just practice for the real deal, it's the crawling before the walking toward success.
I will always be a cheerleader for anyone needing that ounce of validation and encouragement. I believe it is the oil in the machine that keeps us going, otherwise it is difficult to move forward. However, we must know that we are great, special, unique and any other adjective we need to tell ourselves to give self-validation when needed and complete what we started to achieve our goals. You can do it, you know why? "Because You are Great!"
I enjoy meeting new friends, sharing ideas and I especially enjoy having business partners who want to do the same...so, it's been good talking to ya, "Partner"!
- Activities:
- I am happiest when I'm traveling with my family to various beach resorts - we love the ocean, spending quality time with friends, minature golf (love it!!), movies (all kinds), a great Broadway play (especially if it's a musical), reading for pleasure and for self-development, and mostly encouraging others to follow their passion and to live it.
- Interests:
- Music, I love to sing..anywhere, anytime. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing ideas on just about anything that has to do with self improvement. Walking up everyday knowing I have the ability to make a difference....
- Favorite Books:
- Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich, The Power of Positive Thinking, about 2/3 of the books written by James Patterson.
