- This is one of 7 different sites but I am renovating some and relocating others. I am a writer, editor, proofreader, online store owner and an affiliate.
- About Me (We read this!):
- From 1963 to 1998 I worked on a number of different jobs that included civil servant, hostess, waitress, student, and social worker.
When my husband died I was not able to work in my discipline so I made far less money here than I did in Canada. So it was a struggle to live month to month. I am retired now and have Social Security for which I am grateful.
However, I have always approached things with a great deal of determination, enthusiasm and old fashioned intestinal fortitude. I plan to be in a much better place by the end of this year. My business will be flourishing and I shall be living in New York if all goes well.
I want to be successful in my own business on the net. I want to make a comfortable living or better from my home. I want to conduct an honest, ethical and helpful business. To me it is important to always follow your dreams no matter where you are financially! It is, when the day is ended; even more important to be passionate about your life. :)
- Activities:
- I enjoy walking in the rain, watching the sunset, and watching a good equestrian show. I enjoy reading a good mystery novel, cooking, talking to my friends on the net, listening to music, and going out with the girls.
- Interests:
- I enjoy writing poems and stories. I enjoy the main domestic arts like cooking, decorating, cross stitch, and gardening. I enjoy collecting Teddy Bears and Kittens. I have a wide range of them both in maker and circa. I like my ceramic angels and bisque dolls. I have a small collection of music boxes too, that gives me pleasure.
- Favorite Books:
- Reading; mostly Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Mysteries by Agatha Christie and other British writers, good SciFi authors like Ray Bradbury, or Frank Herbert, and Fantasy like Lord of the Rings by Tolkien and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. I also enjoy reading anything by Terry Prachett.
