- With over thirty years in the furniture business it is hard to not offer custom design services. I have sold all of my shop equipment in 2008 and now focus on selling items that are needed every day as well as a wide array of furniture and services primarily on line.
Selling on eBay in 2007 has shown me a list of over a hundred home furnishing and art type products that are popular.
The venture into everyday products is due to the slow down of larger non essential item purchasing for many people.
I have recently set up www.sitemakingmoney.com as a vehicle to get some of the rewards, trials and tribulations of selling online.

- I always wanted to build houses. Architecture school focused on commercial properties, so I switched to interior design. But that focused on commercial interiors as well. So I spent the next several decades doing what I thought I would like. In reality it was doing what others wanted.
Shortly after my son was born I took a position teaching woodworking to UAW employees, and that went down hill the past few years. I was a single father the first eight years and the past few I have been exploring the challenges of the internet as my job was eroded. Along with health problems.
I'm me, that's the way I see myself at the moment. No car. Small town. See my son on weekends. Sit at the computer day in and day out working on my dreams. One of which is to reduce the time here soon. 'Check out www.sitemakingmoney.com the start of a site I introduced the week of February 10, 2009.
- Activities:
- Since I broke my ankle three or four years ago I have had limited activities. That with a decreasing income has not allowed for much besides bike riding and exploring the web.
Activities I wish to reclaim are traveling, being involved in groups, getting my son in a sports activity, seeing a play on occasion and going boating.
In the past I have been very active with woodworking, sewing and skiing. (the first two as work that I felt I had to do)
Today I'm cooking as I write this. I like cooking and gardening and have enjoyed raising animals in the past.

So you design furniture? I have a 12 year old idea that could be dusted off, which targets a particular furniture niche that has yet to be addressed. In fact I was just talking with a business broker about it last week.
Let me put it this way. I believe furniture should do more than fit the room. Furniture should fit the body. I have a group of particular bodies in mind. After a few legal papers are drawn up, I could use some prototypes.
Now about that income reduction dilemma. What can we do for you?
