- About Me (We read this!):
- Hi, my name is Tamika. I am the mother of four children. Two boys and 2 girls. I have wanted to have my own business ever since I was a little girl. You know when everyone wants to be doctors, lawyers, firefighters or police officers... I wanted to own my own business. I never really expressed what type of business, but I've ALWAYS known that I want to work for me. I had my first child when I was fairly young. I worked at a young age to support myself and my son. Then I got with a man who I thought was the love of my life and we began to start a family of our own. Well, neither of our families is big and he rarely dealt with his family so our chain of support was very limited and scarce. After we had our first child together and I was pregnant with our second, I began to seriously think about working from home. I hadn't worked in about two years and his income didn't generate too much money. So it was like we were going to be needing another source of income because our family was growing. But with our limited support, it was going to be difficult to find a babysitter for 3 children for me to take on a full time job. So I signed up for a work at home job that didn't really go quite as expected. That was in 2003. Ever since then, I have just been trying different wah jobs, with hardly any success at generating cash. Now I am more focused on starting a home based business. Oh yea, that guy and I ended up having 3 children together. One more even after I first signed up for a work at home job. I figured if I can work at home, why not just do what I've always wanted to do and have a home based business? And that is where I stand right now.
- Activities:
- I love to spend time with my man and our children. Besides that, there is nothing much that I do. Besides the activities we all may do together, like color, take the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese's. My boyfriend and I may play cards or watch a movie
- Interests:
- My interests are marketing on the internet and running a business out of your home. My interests also are getting more familiar with myself and what I stand for in the world. I know it's more than just being a mother :-). I am also interested in exploring the world a little bit.
- Favorite Books:
- I am a fan of Black fiction. I am not sure if anyone is familiar with him, but I love Eric Jerome Dickey books.
