- Growing up during the '50's I suffered from allergies and a lot of other health issues. Constant colds was just one of my problems, and I suffered from digestive difficulties as well.
Then in the '70's I learned some about nutrition. Vitamin C just aggravated the conditions as it's a water soluble vitamin. My system eliminated it more rapidly than I could absorb it, so colds got worse! Also, I would get rashes and canker sores in my mouth! It was awful.
Then my parents were introduced to Shaklee! My dad was so impressed that he gave us the basics one year for Christmas, and my health issues went away! That's right! They disappeared. AND, I was able to take vitamin C!
