Social marketing on safe lists and traffic exchanges by Rex Harris

You wouldn't think so, but using social marketing strategies on resources such as safe lists or traffic exchanges will generate better results than standard advertising and marketing practices.

It seems that most Internet marketers are so focused on advertising that they are doing themselves more harm than good.

There is a formula for marketing online and that formula is: traffic + leads = sign ups and sales! If this system is followed then results will improve dramatically.

I'm not the only full time Internet marketer who believes this. Teachers like Ewen Chia, for example, have believed the same thing for years. In fact, I still regard his e-book Newbie Cash Machine to be one of the greatest ever written when it comes to the development of a marketing system.

When we combine what we know to be true about "social marketing" we can take that information and apply the strategies to the utilization of credit based safe lists and traffic exchanges and generate leads unlike most are able to generate using the same resources!

Why? It's simple! When you return the human element to Internet marketing, you are going to win back the confidence of the marketplace. Let's face it, things in the world have reached a state of desperation when it comes to money. In comparison, we might look at those running from a burning building. If a building is on fire, the majority are NOT interested, at all, in saving your life... they are interested in escaping with their own

Now I realize that there are those who live outside the norm and will help others in distress, but you and I both know the panic that takes place in times of extreme stress. That type of stress does not create an environment in which people think of the welfare of others first.

Unfortunately, the economic situation has reached a point where people are so desperate to help themselves that the thought of helping others just isn't there, for most. It's a harsh reality, but if you are willing to be honest with yourself right now, it's the truth.

And think about this from your perspective... are you going to be more likely to respond to an ad that offers the same silly hype that all of the other ads offer... or... are you going to be more likely to respond to someone who is willing to talk to you, via the social media (like video for example) who is reaching out to you as a person (a human being) and not a commodity?

By returning the human element (social networking) to our marketing efforts, we are going to see a greater response because, similar to the times of extreme stress, people are looking for help and answers that are going to, in essence, save them.

Thus, utilizing the social media (video especially) on the system you are promoting using click traffic resources are going to get a greater response than those who are only using video and audio to further their agenda. Back in the my vacuum cleaner sales days, our motto was simple... make a friend, make a sale... not the other way around!
